What would happen if the federal government in the US decided to protect only the basic human rights provided by the constitution and allowed individual states to govern everything else? Issues like gay marriage, abortion and the environment. The truth is, I would expect that things would become so bad that people would leave some states due to the intolerable conditions. States that trash their environments would see the land and oceans sour. They would ironically have to rely on the input from the very scientist they ignored when the issues of climate change and sustainability were first introduced. Would a crashing local economy and a polluted unproductive environment be enough to make things change for the better?
Click-A-Geddon
Did you know a click on an website ad cost the poster anywhere from .25 cents to a $1.25? What would happen if an organized group in protest clicked the hell out of every ad on an offending companies website?
At first the offending site would receive a ton of profits but when the conversion rate plummets advertisers might start pulling the plug on future campaigns. Would this work to drive change? Who knows…
***For the record I am not advising anyone try this. This is just a random thought…
Solar Stills Can Save The Ocean

Solar stills are used to purify salty or polluted water. The sun hitting the water covered by a transparent sheet causes the water to evaporate. The evaporation is then collected producing fresh water.
I want to build a large scale solar still to clean the water from a pond. The fresh water output will be fed back into the pond. With some funding I plan on building a large scale version that can help clean lakes and rivers. If the large scale model is successful, I want to build a floating version that can be left in parts of the ocean known to accumulate the most waste.

The Tough Coach Guide to Success
Some people come up with great ideas daily that could be very successful and lucrative but fail to bring them into existence due to a short attention span and an even shorter work ethic when it comes to the barriers encountered along the way to taking an idea into reality. Some people have everything almost given to them. A full ride to a top ranked university, high intelligence, no criminal record and still end up doing door to door sales with a degree making minimum wage.
Why do people fail to reach their full potential? For some its drive. Having everything given to you can lead to the inability to make important life decisions when the choice is finally yours. For others its bad luck.
Two questions you should start off with are “Am I successful and what is success?”
Success in my world is broken up into 4 categories.
- Monetary Success: When an individual’s total income is greater than 50% of the population with similar attributes average income. Basically, having above average income for your group.
- Social Success: When an individual finds a life partner and maintains a symbiotic relationship. Basically, all parties contribute equally to the relationship.
- Legendary Success: When an individual creates a great work for society and the world to consume. Basically, a world-renowned scientist, author, writer, inventor, entrepreneur or politician.
- Fictional Success: When you pretend to have any of the above, but a quick glance at your home, bank account or google implies the opposite.
I will break down how to rank and be successful relative to your lifestyle. If you would like to receive a copy of the ebook. The total cost is $2.
